How to delete your account (in the app)

You can delete your Cho Cho Cho Skills Hub account directly from the mobile app.

  1. Open the Cho Cho Cho Skills Hub app and log in.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Open Account Settings.
  4. Select Delete Account and confirm.

What data is deleted

When your account deletion is completed, we delete (or permanently anonymize) the following data associated with your account:

  • Account profile details (such as name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and account identifiers in our app database).
  • Course progress and learning activity tied to your account.
  • Community content linked to your identity (we may anonymize posts/comments so the content remains but is no longer associated with you).
  • Support messages stored in our support systems, where feasible and not required for legal obligations.

What data may be retained

Some data may be retained for a limited time where required for legal, tax, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention purposes:

  • Payment and transaction records: if you purchased a subscription, we may retain invoices/transaction metadata for up to 7 years (or as required by local law). Payment card details are handled by third-party payment processors.
  • Security and audit logs: may be retained for up to 90 days to protect users and the Services.
  • Backups: deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being overwritten.

After applicable retention periods expire, retained data is deleted or anonymized.
